Rendering the outside of your property can have many benefits including protection and preservation of brickwork.
Also not only may your property be more pleasing to the eye but could significantly increase your properties kerb side appeal and therfore potentially its sale value.
Another key benefit of external rendering is insulation which can be applied in addition to render and given that the render could last many years before needing any maintenance, some or even all of the costs for this may be recouped in time (dependant on how efficient other insulated areas of you property are such as roof and windows).
Planning permission isn't normally required for rendering unless the building is listed or in a conservations area and can be considered a permitted development.
We only use the the best products available and where possible recommend K-REND.
Before rendering is applied we will survey your walls and repair any minor defects. Once repair work is completed we will then remove or cover any external fittings such as bargeboards, alarm boxes, lighting and windows/sills before beginning our final surface preparations.
We are now able to begin fixing metal stops and angle beads to doorways, windows and corners which gives the perfect clean edge appearance to the finish.
Once beading and final prep is completed if required external insulation will now be fitted at this point and a fabric render mesh will normally be fitted to prevent cracking of the render.
The render can now be applied which would normally consist of a primer coat, a top coat. The finishing coat can be coloured to your requirements and will eliminate the need for painting.
